The Betsey Johnson eyewear collection gushes with Betsey flair with a mixture of fabulous zyl acetate plastic designs as well as metal styles featuring unique shape and colorful patterns.

Anglo American Optical Company LTD was founded in London in 1882, with over 120 years of frame making experience. We pride ourselves on manufacturing the highest quality zyl frames in the industry.

Anglo American Frames start out as a handmade frame. We produce a piece from an original drawing and inspect it to make sure the finished product is exactly what the designer had in mind. We travel the world to find the richest colors, and highest quality zyl on the market. Anglo American Optical uses cellulose acetate. Making the frames from this cotton based material makes each frame hypo-allergenic; as opposed to petroleum based plastic that may cause skin irritation and have a tendency to crack easily. Anglo American Optical manufactures ophthalmic and sunglass frames. All our sunglasses are ophthalmic ready and come with stock CR39 lenses that are UV400 coated. Anglo American Optical metal frames are manufactured with different alloys such as nickel, stainless steel, titanium, and copper. All the frames are light, durable, and comfortable to wear.

Article One is an independent eyewear company based in Flint, Michigan. We produce handcrafted eyewear in Italy with complete brand transparency and a spotlight on the hands that craft our frames. We are proponents of supporting independent optical, giving back to our community, and thoughtful design. Article One frames are handmade in a small village in Northern Italy at the base of the Dolomites. The family-owned factory we work with has 12 craftsman who are experts in what they do. We work to give credit where credit is due by shining a light on the hands that touch each frame. The care put into each frame results in quality you can feel.
